OpenGL is coming pretty easy. Alot easier than DirectX did for me.

I guess I am trying to figure out how I am going to build my tiling 'engine'....?

I'll figure it out eventually, I just want it NOWWW. hehe

Basically, Codeguru sucks...always has...always will
I have been away from working in C++ quite a few years. I've visited Codeguru only a few times and definitely was aware that something had happened but, to be honest, didn't pay that much attention. It does actually rather suck, doesn't it.

Codeproject does appear to be everything that Codeguru used to be, so it's nice to know about it.

Not sure about the "always has" part, though. Back when I was learning C++ (probably 15 years ago or so, not sure, long time anyway) Codeguru was an invaluable resource and filled with really friendly and expert coders.
