Yes. I agree.
I'll second. Hockey, in your vast knowledge of all things programming related, how is it that you have not yet managed to set up a blog for yourself? Just wondering, because the General Discussion forum seems to be quickly becoming the Hockey Blog

Everah, I do have blogs...in fact two are programming related...
I have setup numerous other blogs for various interests of mine (bodybuilding, aviation, SOHO business and about a dozen others).
If you think I'm turning this forum into my personal blog with only 1,000 some odd posts...imagine if stopped and started posting brief messages only, heck I'd be at 20,000 or messages in no time and maybe then it would make sense to make me a moderator?

If all it took was post count to become a mod, then there would be 50 mods around here.
I was just thinking, as I read through this thread, that it would have been a better blog post than a forum thread. That's all.

Well Everah, I agree, but hindsight is always 20/20
I'll be honest I should really consolidate my blogs into a single blog...but my interests are so varied they would be hard to find a common audience and...difficult to remain focused...
I haven't touched most in a long enough time, most people that did look, probably don't anymore
When I finally get my web site up and running (contant changes mostly) I plan on updating my blog...I kinda planned on using this area to kinda hash out ideas before formalizing it into a blog...as I absolutely know for sure I'll receive criticism here
Prepare for the worse and pray for the best kinda deal...posting here first let's me prepare for backlash...seeing how my newest blog is tightly associated with my business...I kinda want to be a accurate as possible and make sure I cover all arguments first...
Anyways I'll take what you say into consideration in the future
