[56K WARN] Where should I go for lunch?

Post by Luke »

Let's see we have McDonalds, Taco Bell, Subway, and Jack in the Box nearby. I hate all of them... but I am short on cash today... what do y'all think?

I just need somewhere cheap... subway <span style='color:blue' title='I'm naughty, are you naughty?'>smurf</span> me off because they call it "Subway Restaurants" in their commercials... for one, Subway is no restaurant, and two, if it was, it would be ONE restaurant... not multiple restaurants.

Anybody have any better ideas?

lol...my idea wasn't good enough for you?

I gave you the best idea of the options you provided. A 'better idea' would be to just not eat if those are really all that you can pick from.

Technically they are a restaurant, they are an establishment that servers food, and technically they are restaurants.. there are multiples of them, thus we can use plural when discussing more than one of them :P

Subway is my daily lunch but only because there isn't anywhere else to go. Used to be Pret A Manger when I worked in the city.

I've just been looking at Burr's avatar.. and my belly rumbled.

we just finally got one a couple years back... and it was swarmed at the beginning, but not that popular now. We also got a krispy cream that went out of business within a year... the so-cal eating fads just don't seem to stick around here.

(those are so-cal eating fads, aren't they? :? )

But didn't they both "start" in southern california?

I like Carl's Jr, but they make me mad too because they charge $1.50 for you to use an atm card and then they make you withdraw at least $10. !@#% that.
