Hey guys, I'm a co-op student, and I finished a programming project days ago, and my manager is being horrendously slow and flaky about looking over it and giving me something else to work on. And of course I can't just leave, because i'm a student and i'm supposed to be kissing ass and whatnot, so i have to stay at my computer and look like i'm working, but i just wanted some advice on what to do. Does anybody know any great distracting websites or stuff to get into? There are only so many stories on cnn.com, and there are only so many games of solitare a girl can play...

Nothing complicated. I don't know when the manager will get around to giving me something, so I don't know how much time I need to kill. Thoughts?

Play with
Google Maps... create a mini-map-app. It's EXTREMELY fun... seriously.

I'm impressed with how well written their API is and the documentation is WONDERFUL. They make it very easy to work with their API. I started working with it when I knew almost nothing about javascript, and I still had no problem with it.
