What is your favorite radio station?

Post by hawleyjr »

I was playing with my phone this weekend when I found http://radio4pda.com with this site I'm able to listen to USA, Canada, UK, Ireland and Australian radio on my phone (And PC)

Two questions...

1: What is your favorite radio station? If so, is it listed?

2: I'm looking for a good station that plays some of the following bands: The Killers, Kings of Leon, Bloc Party...any ideas?

Damn, I don't remember you being that old... but my parents love listening to it to. I, on the other hand, can't stand it.

it's the only way I know what's going on in the world. I don't have a good enough attention span to read a paper and I can't stand watching the news on TV (especially here in AZ) because it's waaay too conservative for my liking.

NPR seems to take a much more liberal approach to reporting so it's a lot more in line with my political views.

I listen to it to and from work every day...it's great stuff really!

I actually do enjoy NPR also....however, since I started working from home I haven't listened to it since. It was nice to listen to in rush hour on my way to work kind of got me into work mode thinking...

No; it's a real radio station from Australia. It's really funny sometimes and they have no bars over what they choose to play so you hear a lot of stuff on there you won't here elsewhere. They tend to introduce quite a few new bands before they ever debut. They play breakbeat sometimes too...
