Backup your 1.5 Application Data folder and/or install Fx2 in a different folder (although the Application Data may still be overwritten, at least you'll have a backup.)
my biggest concern is tab mix plus. I read that 2.0 provides the ability to close tabs right on the tab itself (same as tab mix plus), and I don't want any conflicts with that. I use tab mix plus for other reasons (not just closing tabs on the tabs themselves) and so borking of any kind with regard to tabs and mixing and plussing is no good for me.
Well, at least now you'll spell correctly! The spell checker is very transparent. I like it a lot.
I had some initial troubles with an extension that was causing all possible buttons in the context menu to be shown, but I found a replacement and everything is working like a charm. I'm not sure I agree with the visual change to make non-active tabs darker than the rest of the layout, but I'll get used to it.

I REALIZE THAT FIREFOX 2 IS GOING TO BE RELEASE ON TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24. A NEW VERSION OF TAB MIX PLUS IS GOING TO BE RELEASE SHORTLY AFTER THAT, IN LESS THAN A WEEK. PLEASE BE PATIENT, FOR NOW YOU CAN TRY THIS VERSION EARLY.
mmm. I <span style='color:blue' title='I'm naughty, are you naughty?'>smurf</span> love this spell checker. It is absolutely amazing. Go Firefox!!!!!!!!
Actually I was expecting a little more from 2.0. I don't see any "critical enough" features that would make it worth for me to upgrade from 1.5... I was expecting at least minimal performance increase and lower memory usage.
