Site run out of steam

Post by MattF »

A few months ago I got the idea of setting up a site where people could post reviews and comments about PHP scripts. It was gonna be the ultimate place to go if people wanted to find out how good a script was. I set up the site with a domain, design and PHP/mySQL backend. Then reality set in and I realised I was rubbish at writing reviews and I didn't really have time anyway.

That's why I've decided to stop doing the site, I thought, who knows, someone else might want to carry on with it. So I am gonna offer it for sale, here's what you get:

-Site design (not that great but it works)
-PHP/mySQL backend
-Domain name phpreviews.com

I am not looking to make a fortune out of it, the main thing I want is not to see my hard work go to waste, the least amount of money I will accept is £5, that's cheaper than the domain cost. I will accept payment from PayPal or a cheque. If no one at all is interested in buying it I will give it all away free. Reply here or email matt@mattford.net with any bids.

You can see the site in all it's glory at http://www.phpreviews.com

Hey Matt, I think the problem might be people on here could just write their own and wouldn't buy it. You might wanna try and market it to a different group of people for reviewing something else like products or services, etc...
