the falcon wouldn't stand a chance. reasons-
a) weaker shields
b) most lasers have to be manually targeted ( enterprise automated)
c) lack of torpedoes ( they may have some but they were never used in movies)
d) lack of transporters ( it'd be dirty but once they knock out that shield the enterprise has a large complement of troops it could beam over)

and a few other things but i'll leave it at that. for the record, i love star wars too.

The Enterprise cannot lose ;). Since it's a Federation vessel under the command of Humans, its fate is to continually beat all odds and destroy anything that tries taking it out up. In fact, the only way to destroy the Enterprise is for its Captain to deliberately scuttle the starship as part of some cunning ploy to fake the crew's death or avoid surrender in a final show of defiance.

It is rumoured in the halls of power that even the Flying Spaghetti Monster could not stand against the Enterprise...

This is the ultimate geek thread. I'm honored to be in it with you guys.

As much as I love Star Wars, Han Solo and the Millennium Falcon, there is no way that it would monkey spank the Enterprise. Yes, the Falcons is more maneuverable, but that is where its advantage stops. The Enterprise has everything else going for it, including the flat panel, plasma screen TV for watching their victory.

Han Solo has a faint chance. The Enterprise might keep beaming away teams of three or four crewmen over to the Falcon until they are out of personal.

This is not geeky enough because we haven't specificed which captain the Enterprise has or what mission they are on. And is this the Falcon with just Han and Chewie, or do they get Lando Calrissian and Niem Numb? Is Kirk currently in love or otherwise disabled? Is there a whiney Luke Skywalker aboard either ship?

phasers damn near have a 100% firing arch...maneuverability doesn't help in such cases.

Also, it's not clear which Enterprise it is. Captain Picard was the only one to command two different ones. Image
