If you had one, you won't after she reads that...

I am a fairly decent cook. I can BBQ New York steaks and Rib Eyes pretty darn good (you know, the kind that three days later and three minutes in the microwave are just as juicy and tender as when they were fresh off the grill? yummmmy). I am a breakfast king, and almost anything that has cooking instructions. Oh yeah, and Mexican food. Carne Asado con arroz Y guacamole, salsa fresa, chile colorado, pollo asado, y que!

I can cook anything that's simple enough to do without following a recipe and you can make it up as you go along.

Cooking is my hobby. Specialties are grillards, jambalaya, and bbq chicken with a sauce recipe that came from my grandfather.

there's nothing like a good deep fryer. Seems most everything in the south is deep fried. we go to pawleys island south carolina every year and I consume in a week more deep fried products than most people consume in a decade. deep fried shrimp, deep fried fish, deep fried okra, deep fried corn bread (hush puppies), deep fried chicken, deep fried wheaties, deep fried ham sandwiches, deep fried apples, deep fried cheesecake, deep fried peaches....

mmmm, the thought of the sound of something being placed into searing hot grease.... it is really getting me going.
