Milli Vanilli. They were, at one point, singers of my favorite song 'Girl you know it's true'. Then it became not true, so they stank.

I was just making sure we were talking in the same context. Just because they looked female doesn't mean they looked gay. Unless you meant they looked happy?

They were pretty cool. A lot of guys liked them (and just about all the girls did). That is until you actually heard them sing... man, my ears still itch when I think about that...

Thanks volka, that is what I meant. After the lip syncing fiasco was publicized, they tried to tell everyone that could sing. They turned the mic on, tried singing and great balls of fire, that was a memorable experience for all the wrong reasons.
