Chess

Post by shiznatix »

Anyone here a chess fan? I have been playing on http://www.redhotpawn.com and was wondering if anyone wanted to register and play me. My username is shiznatix ... never saw that one coming did you.

As much as this sounds like an advertisement it isn't, I would really want to play some of you guys in chess and if you have a better website then just let me know.

I searched RickUS and it came up with nothing.

I play, but not much online. I play strictly as an amateur with unmentionable chess skills ;).

I love Chess. It was the first ever game I played on a computer back on Windows 3.1.

I may play it occasionally at Yahoo! Games, but I've not done that in ages.

Lets set something up then, on Yahoo or whatever. Who are you though, what is your original name?

I played Battlechess 3000 or some-such obnoxious game on a 386 a very long time ago. The pieces would destroy each other.

I don't really have the time to dedicate to playing chess. I'd like to, but it's not really a game you can just grab 15 minutes of particularly. Not like Counterstrike.

Added you to MSN.

I wouldn't mind playing one of these days if I get some free time. :)

Chess hurts my brain way too much. I'd rather eat ice cream. Sorry.

Common people play renju,
Chess is game of heroes,
Go is reserved for Gods
I totally suck at chess, I just don't get it. I like Go better - it requires more intuition than raw computing power (computers are mid-range players, not champions in Go ;) ) Has anyone here tried it?
