Who is the best 007?
I haven't seen the new one so my vote is not entirely fair. I know the overwhelming majority of you will say Sean Connery, but think about it... Was he really the best, or is it a sentimental pick? I really liked Roger Moore.

Roger Moore was ok, Sean Connery was simply the best.
Daniel Craig was too much of a psycho.. some scenes looked like his head was going to explode.
Seems like everyone liked Sean Connery aswell,

Hmm... I think it's either Roger Moore or Pierce Brosnan, but I'm really not sure

yeah but I don't necessarily buy that...as I said in my original post, I think a lot of that is just sentimentality. I watched gold finger the other night and Sean Connery...umm, not so much.

Sean Connery definitely. Roger Moore would come second but there's just something he's lacking over Sean. Can't put my finger on it though... I think he's not cheeky enough.

I'm not big on bond movies so the only ones I've seen are Pierce Brosnan ones (though I am going to see the new one next weekend).

I like Pierce Brosnan, but only because he makes the role more believable to me. Sean Connery and Roger Moore are both fine actors, but they seems a bit old to me when it comes to having a Secret Agent that is saving the world. I do like Moore and Connery a lot in their roles, but I think Brosnan makes it just a wee bit more realistic that the others.

the whole bond persona is experienced, classy, and deadly..
no young gun can fufil that role

I'd agree with that. But there is something plain nasty about the thought of a 50-something year old geezer trying to chase down a helicopter, fight a much larger villain than himself then have promiscuous relations with a 20-something model. Just seems to me that those actions are best suited to the likes of a younger gun, in my opinion.

I like Daniel Craig. I think he is less fantasized than the other Bonds. He dropped a lot of the classic lines and things seem more realistic than in the other movies.

There must be something wrong with me because I never watched a Bond movie for 007. One vote fore Dame Rigg in the Best Bond Girl Poll when you all get around to it.
