I'm sure there are some great projects out there which go un-noticed and could do with some attention. So I'm sat here searching for web browsers under active development which I haven't seen before and I'm going to experiment with a few.
Found Flock and currently installing the Mac version. Looks like it could be a bit of gimmick/security nightmare with file sharing as part of its buzz but I'll see.
Anyways, just wanted people to post any links to cool experimental or new and under development (cross platform!) web browsers they know of
EDIT | Hmm, that Flock feels, looks and acts like a Pretty version of Firefox.
EDIT 2 | Yeah, Flock turned out to be a re-skinned firefox with some hacking done to add a photos bar which ties in with Flickr.Flock -> About Flock wrote:Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X; en-US; rv:1.8.0.Gecko/20061109 Firefox/1.5.0.8 Flock/0.7.8
Firefox 3 is already at alpha 1 though

CNet wrote:What's exciting about Gran Paradiso is its new rendering engine. The Gekko 1.9 rendering engine will introduce some changes. For example, Firefox 3 will no longer support Windows 95, 98, and Me, and for the Mac OS X, versions 10.2 and earlier will not longer be supported. There will also be numerous changes made to the Document Object Model (DOM) in Gekko 1.9, which will affect developers more than end users.
