Friend of mine showed me this...it is just ***** unbelievable.
I really hope this is not true and will not become reality.

I read it as well yesterday. Although I'm not too informed about stuff like this, it wouldn't surprise me if this was true.

It's very simple. Microsoft want to keep its monopoly. They will do anything they can to achieve that. Of course there's nothing wrong with a company trying to gain more market share. But the problem is, once a single company has that majority, it gets other, new tools to keep that majority. Tools like described in that article. Tools which shouldn't be used in a "fair" free market.

And even if there will be governments/institutions who try to stop Microsoft from doing something like this, it will take years and years to sue. Look at the case against Microsoft in Europe.

Well...it is simply a disaster if you ask me. It won't matter which OS you use...you will be affected (badly) in one way or another.
Seems really hard to achieve....but money is a powerful ****
