anyone watch 24?

Post by Burrito »

I was given season 1 as an x-mas gift and had never seen any of them before. Sure I'd seen the adverts on fox while watching football on Sunday afternoon but never really gave it much thought. I popped in the first dvd on Thursday evening and oh my freakin' god...that show it outstanding. I had a complete 24 marathon over the 2 subsequent days and just finished the first season last night. Needless to say, I'm totally hooked.

I just got back from the store with season 2 in hand and have plans to waste the next few days of my life glued to my set...

I also got season 1 as a gift a while ago. I think it's a good show but personally I dislike the format.

If it was more traditional, I think I'd watch but the whole "real-time" and "every show is just 1 hour, every season is just 1 day" format just doesn't appeal to me. I admit, it's cool and original (I think?) but that sort of format seems so limiting and constraining for the sort of plot line I like.

I totally watch 24... I got hooked in the first season, and have seen all subsequent seasons on TV. I own seasons 1 through 3 on DVD, and am eagerly anticipating the beginning of season 5.

The show does get a tad formulaic over time, but there are enough surprises and twists to keep you glued regardless. All in all, I'm satisfied with it, and I've since gotten my father and step-mother hooked, as well as the gf's parents.

I got bored after season2... I just hate it how his girls always gets in trouble... Just let her die :P

Personally i liked it much more to have a lost and a prison break (both season 1) marathon... Last weekend was prison break season2 marathon (1 to 13)

Kim is barely involved in the series anymore timvw, so if that's a good thing, it may be time to look back into it. ;)
