Firstly, a big cuddle and Happy New Year !!
I just signed up, and chose the "Board Style: Sherbet".
Wow, it is very G R E E N.
LOL
Now, what PHP Script are these two sites using please ...
(notice they are both pretty much the same)
http://www.cyberbeg.com
http://www.digitalcharity.com
I've been looking around the internet and searching hotscripts for two days.
The person that shows me what script it is,
wins a prize !!!
Best Wishes, Love,
Karen.

I can almost certainly assure you they are not running the same "script". The only things those websites have in common are that they have white/green alternate coloured data rows on the main page, which take up alot of the space available. They also categorise the data sets and use page numbering.
If you want to know how to create alternate colour table rows or page numbering (pagination), please search on the forum, it has been asked upwards of 10 times in the last few months! I would advise looking into some sort of RDBMS (eg. MySQL) if you want to create a website similar to the ones you have linked to.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are links to threads discussing both "zebra" striped tables and pagination in a sticky thread in the PHP-Code forum.
EDIT | After closer inspection, they might be using the same scirpt to display the data in the middle of the page, lol. They use the same $_GET variable name, with 4 digit id numbers, exactly the same RGB colour code for green, red, bold or unbold titles, both on the same topic... Ignore the first sentence of this post
I would advise emailing the website admins and asking if you can have the script they used, or recreating it yourself following the above steps, it doesn't look too difficult.

"alternate color table rows" ?
That wasn't my question. LOL
They are running the same script.
(Just slightly modified)
Because they both have the same sign-up process and same result.
Both have a post a message, then the PayPal link is inserted,
then the listing gets put up the top on the main page.
Do you know of a script that does the same please ?
Best Regards, Love,
Karen.

Alright, forget all I said. I maybe jumped to conclusions too early.
Presuming they are using the same script, I doubt anyone will know where to find it. Why not just ask them?

I pardon you

I emailed them both and they said something along the lines off "pay someone $500 to make one".
It is just a script though.
And I know they are using the same script, because I studied both of them in detail.
Thanks Jay, I will look forward to other people's replys.
Have a nice day !

it's possible they paid somebody $500 to make them one... and then used the code twice.

That's a pretty abrupt response from a donations website...!
They are most probably the same script, but like I said before, I doubt anyone will know where to find it.

That's a good reply, but I did a bit of investigation and found out they are not affiliated.
I checked archive.org history, and the digitalcharity company details, and oh a lot of other investigation.
If you check out their scripts, they are very useful scripts, you have to admit.
We have some good ideas to use them scripts and have got to find out where to download their scripts or very similar scripts.
Have a nice day !!

http://www.hotscripts.com/
Search term
donationYour search returned 17 listings.
Maybe you find something useful there.

Yes, I tried there.
It's not actually a donation script.
They are using something more like a guestbook script or a links script.
Then they just modified it, to put the paypal link on each submitted page.
It is really very good.

I have an idea! Why don't you tell us exactly what you need out of this script and we'll help you write it!

I have a feeling she's asking what script it is because:
a) She doesn't know PHP
b) She doesn't have the time to write it/learn php
c) It's just easier to find a premade one

Yes, d3ad1ysp0rk, you are correct.
And Ninja Space Goat, I want exactly the same script as
http://digitalcharity.com
You can check it out because it is free to sign-up and post a "please donate money" post.
And I don't want someone to code it for free.
I'd have to do a lot of Photoshop and Flash work in return.
Or give the coder money.
(But being students that is difficult at this time)
I will keep in touch and I will keep looking around script sites.

Oh don't get me wrong... I had no intention of writing it for you. I would be willing to help you along should you decide to write it yourself.
