It seems goofy, but Outlook 2003 really tears up HTML mails because of the Word rendering engine. We use it at work and it is nasty for the HTML mails it receives/sends. As a mail client, however, it is one of the better ones I have seen. Thunderbird is nice for home use, and I use it religiously at home. But for integrated communication tools, outlook kicks butt. I have used Lotus Notes, and to me it seemed as though the Lotus Domino server was a secure set up, but the capability of rendering email in multiple formats cleanly was a real drawback for me.

However, hasn't this situation come about because MS have had to remove IE from Vista (or make it removable) for anti-trust reasons?
Just signed up for it and the first thing I see is an obnoxious flashing (bright pink and bright green) ad to the right of my email. This is annoying and immediately turns me off. I don't even care to see what features it has because of this ad.
Gmail's ads are very obscure and relevant.
EDIT: WOW I am very impressed that it is almost entirely css driven though.
I guess I'll give it another chance now that the obnoxious ad has gone away.

Yahoo mail is really cool. I handle almost all of my business using it (as I can easily set up POP boxe forwarding/retrieval with it). It is a good app in my opinion. Of course, I am a SBC/Yahoo DSL subscriber, so I get an enormous amount of space and no ads, but it is still a really good app.
