What's that saying "I like submarine Captains, they don't have time for smurf, and neither do I."? :D

Age and all that

Post by BDKR »

OK. I'm 35. Another tosser you could say.

And Bill H. I just want to say I'd love to meet you and shake your hand! Talk about having been there and done that! f you are allowed to say, were you on an attack boat or a boomer? That MUST have been some hairy crap. I have tons of respect for you sir.

Anyways, I was in Law Enforcement (Ca Dept of Corrections) for close to eight years and am glad to be doing what I'm doing now. Being a geek! Allways was and allways will be.

Rock hard, ride free....

Yes, IMO, the military isn't the same anymore, and people just don't respect them as much as they should. I like the arguments attesting to the fact that they get all this health care and medical benifits...well they should! They need to defend our country! You don't want unhealthy soldiers. And it's not like the pay is great.

I am at this point in time, on 2003 March 17, 1:45AM UCT (or GMT) -5, or EST),
I am 960409080 old, the sharp minded may see that my life started roughly less than 3 years after the Posix epoch  But, I was not born in this timezone so you can add 21600 to my lifetime to get the correct age..

I served a year in the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF), a korporal at Orland Main, Electro-Mechanical assistant, Weapons and Explosives, 338sqd, F-16 flightline. 1 Year millitary duty is mandatory for all males in Norway.

Now I am just a redneck-geek 8)

Geez....5,697 years old (or might as well be) in comparison...

Anyone remember when they finished that first Pyramid and announced
that they were building TWO more!? Those were the days...
