For me it depends. If were talking draught I'll usually go for a Fosters, or Coors if they have it. Bottled beer, well, pretty much anything is good. My old favourite is Budweiser, but now I'm more into Coors and Brahma (Brazilian).

The Ninja Space Goat wrote:I've never drank just plain guiness. The only time I have bought Guinness is to make Irish car bombs which are by far my favorite alcoholic drink. This is how I make them (please let me know if I don't make them right)

1 shot of irish cream
1 shot of irish whiskey
1/2 to 3/4 a bottle of guiness (now that they come in bottles)

pour the beer into a mug, pour the cream into a shot glass, followed by the whiskey. Now drop the shot glass into the mug, and chug away. Awesome drink.
And you just totally mutilated a perfectly good stout

but you're wasted :D

There's nothing wrong with mutilating beer to get wasted... you should see what my stomach does to it. 8O

In case you didn't know, my stomach turns it into pee

That sounds nummy. I do one that starts with a bottle of beer in a glass. Then, you add 3 parts amaretto to a shot-glass (single or double) and 1 part bacardi 151. Drop it in the beer and go!

The only beer I have ever been able to stomach....

And I think it is because it literally tastes like coffee.

Other than that, the only other alcohol I can handle (other than wine) is Tequila.

There's a Kirin beer (pronunciation is very similar to Kieran) and it's quite good!

I prefer Guinness for beers, although I have no major problem with Samuel Adams, Kirin, Asahi, various India Pales and some others. I don't really care for beer however.

1 shot of irish cream
Just to point out the cream is a Baileys. Bailey's by itself is not half bad either if you want it straight or as a good mixer.

I think Everah and I are on similar pages. I drink Guinness mainly, and often switch to a lightly mixed Jameson.
