 Fantastically true. At least in my case. The only person I knew who cared was my Comp. Sci. teacher, and even he was bashing it. According to him it's just prettier, and it takes a lot more CPU power.

I've just poked my head into a windows sub-forum on a different site, and the entire first page is filled with "Vista won't install!", "Vista install problems!", "[VISTA]Where's my printer gone?!", "Files vanishing in Vista!" etc.

It's a forum dedicated to "Advanced" windows administration. By that, I do mean more advanced than a simple "I can't find my word file" or similar problem. The usual sort of threads in that forum are related to setting up AD, DNS, Proxies, load balancing, clustering etc. on Windows servers, not the usual "noob" problems like it is now.
