Ye' old general discussion board. Basically, for everything that isn't covered elsewhere. Come here to shoot the breeze, shoot your mouth off, or whatever suits your fancy. This forum is not for asking programming related questions.
Fantastically true. At least in my case. The only person I knew who cared was my Comp. Sci. teacher, and even he was bashing it. According to him it's just prettier, and it takes a lot more CPU power.
my friend who works as best buy geek squad cares. nothing works for it and they are super busy with calls like 'why isnt my printer recognized anymore' and 'why did this suddenly stop working?'. yay vista!
I've just poked my head into a windows sub-forum on a different site, and the entire first page is filled with "Vista won't install!", "Vista install problems!", "[VISTA]Where's my printer gone?!", "Files vanishing in Vista!" etc.

how is that any different than any other OS help (sub-)forum?
It's a forum dedicated to "Advanced" windows administration. By that, I do mean more advanced than a simple "I can't find my word file" or similar problem. The usual sort of threads in that forum are related to setting up AD, DNS, Proxies, load balancing, clustering etc. on Windows servers, not the usual "noob" problems like it is now.
