Game Programming Assistance
For those that have read these threads from me in the past, yes, I am still at it. Haven't covered a whole lot of ground ( I kept restarting as I learned new techniques. Bad me, I know.) But the point is I am once again finding myself with free time and now I just need some assistance if for no other reason than I need someone to BS with about the game and get some excitement up so I can keep coding.
So the question is, do we have any star trek fans? Space strategy fans? Anything to do with space fans? The reason I'm so generic is because up this point the code I have wrote is generic and will work for all of those. And since I'm the one looking for apartner I'm open to suggestions.

I haven't played a Star Trek game since I owned a 133/mhz P1.. lol
I was thinking about getting one of the newer strategy games. Bethesda Softworks also has a game of some sort in development:

I stopped watching Star Trek after Voyager. Star Trek 5 was also a huge turn-off, what a bad movie. I also dislike the Star Trek Gamers website, they turn me off too, especially the owner. Enterprise was a bad show, too.
To further answer your original question:
I love space games. Strategy, simulation, whatever. I played the Wing Commander/Privateer series for years and years and years until I lost my discs. I wish I still had some space sims to play but they just don't make them anymore! The last one I played was Freelancer which was a good game, but very short.
