Apache and MySQL on Windows 2000

Post by phice »

So I've always used PHPTriad to run my apache server when I had Windows 98. And I've never had a problem starting MySQL for it.

Now, that I'm on Windows 2000, I try to start MySQL and go to my phpMyAdmin program, and it can't connect to MySQL. Any help?

Maybe it would be easier to set the components up separately, gives you more control and following the install instructions step by step makes it not hard at all.

I've tried doing such before, yet I was unsuccessful. Any tutorials I may be able to learn from?
