Covnert mac fonts to windows fonts

Post by malcolmboston »

I need a freeware utility that has the ability to convert mac fonts to windows fonts (from a windows computer) relatively 100% identical.

Does anyone know of one, the ones ive looked at have either had limitations or not had features (such as not being able to work with certain types of fonts)

Thanks, Mal

Do you mean PostScript fonts? It's been a long time since I needed to look at Mac fonts.

fonts are a very complicated issue (believe it or not) - use OpenType whenever possible.

Mac and PC font translation is problematic at best, re-source the font if you can.

Find font that looks similar to that one on Mac. I'm sure it isn't that hard. Also try searching by font's name. There might be the same name for it on Mac and PC. I suggest DaFont.
