Windows IRC client

Post by alex.barylski »

I have used mIRC in the past but it's shareware...I can't be bothered to pay for something which is likely free else where.

Anyone have any suggestions? Wicked Windows based IRC clients?

Also, if you know of any linux IRC chat rooms, especially for Debian, I'd love to have em' listed so I can get some Linux help real time :)

Thanks :)

I use Chatzilla, an IRC client plugin for Firefox. It works great and is platform independent.

That's great, neel_basu, that you feel that way. But Hockey was looking for a Windows IRC client. Does Opera have one? I know Firefox has an IRC extension, that is why I suggested it.

Apparently, there's one built-in.

I know we have one. It is not used that much (unless someone calls a meeting). Search here for the correct name.
