New (crappy) HoneyComb formula....

I just finished a bowl of HoneyCombs and it was a totally different experience than the last bowl I ate. They didn't have the same crunch that HoneyCombs are supposed to have. They also weren't quite as big big big. They almost had the consistency of waffle crisp (that sort of melt in your mouth experience).

Does anyone know if they have changed formulas? I'm thinking (and hoping) that perhaps I just got a bad box, one that was meant to be waffle crisp that they accidentally shaped like HoneyComb and poured into a HoneyComb box.

I need information on this!

EDIT:
OK, so I'm not losing it...thanks wikipedia!

I don't think so, I find that the sometime they're not cooked enough and they have that experience you just said but sometimes they're perfect and sometimes they're abit overcooked. Or maybe theres a new no trans fat version?

If we complain enough, they may change it back.

Keep in mind that I am a sole-provider father of five kids and supplier of all things income in a house of seven, so the niceties of named brand cereal is rare for me. Unless it is sold at Costco, in which case I buy, and eat, like a dog. Newman's own Macadamia nut, SpecialK with Berries, Honey Nut Cheeries, Honey Bunches of Oats (or as my kids call it, Honey Bunchaboats). Anyhow, I hope this cereal thing gets worked out for you, lest you become a Cookie Crisp eating fat programmer man. Like me. :D
