Year 2007 Daylight Savings problems

Post by hawleyjr »

Anyone had issues today with Y2K7 Other than email timestamps I've been fine. I have a friend at the airport. I guess there are a lot of missed & canceled flights because of it...

Nothing here. Everything seemed to work itself out (for critical issues I mean. For things like my VCR, well that didn't straighten itself out until 10 last night).

Funny you should say that. I've been seeing weird timestamps on Facebook and my Windows clock was messed up this morning. I didn't know there was a cause though.

Its that little black rectangular thing that the two year old feeds peanut butter sandwiches to.

Y2K7 stole one of my weekends a short time ago - needed to make sure our patched systems would not end the world! Is there anyone I should blame in particular over in the US and Canada? ;).

No issues here really. Apart from needing to remember that US contacts may call me at unusual times, and I need to remember my working schedule for some clients just got shifted about by an hour. Our software should be fine. Mainly it's running around the office today and tomorrow to make sure my interns don't ignore the email I sent out about running that damn Outlook DST synch tool to fix their calendar dates for US appointments and conferences.

Even if the world ended, it would be back in a three weeks. Then it would end again at the end of summer, then come back a week later.

Freaking energy policy act.
