Version control videos on YouTube!?

Post by ZiorM »

I had to share these YouTube videos with everyone. It depicts Clearcase and Accurev version control tools just like the I'm a Mac/I'm a PC ads from Apple. How often do you see YouTube videos that are about source control?? Love it!

I see at least 4 up there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msDuQoKqysw

Accurev does appear to be the most logical replacement for Clearcase based on the web site.

Enjoy!

OK, I have to admit, that one wasn't very funny, but I actually thought this one was. :-)

I've locked down a few VOBs in my day, but the lock on the door is bigger. ;-)

So basically those are both pay-for version of free tools like SCCS, SVN and CVS?

Disco. Poor versions at that, I would like to add. (My opinion, of course.)

I agree. I still don't understand folks' need to buy stuff they can get for free when the free stuff has support communities (like ours) that can really help a lot (for free even).
