Whats the easiest way to backup my laptop? Like the whole thing because I have an HP [don't ever buy one, i've had 2 lemons, and 1 with problems which i have now] and I have to send it in, and I wanna back up the whole thing.

Can't you just connect the machine to the power cable to get power? Then you can set up networking on it so you can access it from another machine if needed (which I don't think you'd need since the power is on).tecktalkcm0391 wrote:Now I have another question in this same topic. My laptop won't charge, and I have to send it to HP, and the battery is dead. Is there anyway to hookup another computer and access the HD and get the files off of it?

If you got no power, then the only way to get your information from your harddrive is to pull the drive out and install it into another machine. Which is really not an option since the that would void your warranty.
Maybe you can have the folks working on the machine at the warranty provider image the drive for you?
