At least you did make that clear to her. My problem in situations like that is that I stay way to nice/friendly. Don't know, maybe my parents should have yelled at and beaten me some more :wink: I'm learning though, so I'll keep your conversation in mind next time I need to make a phone call like that.

I've always found maintaining a stern, but polite, attitude gets me miles further than simply ranting. I've actually asked customers to ring me back once they have calmed down (really abusive,) in the past. Can't imagine Dell employees would be any more inclined to help someone who is abusive either.

that is sad sad sad. i just got a dell laptop. good thing I only got 2 gigs of ram!

There was two phone calls and two hours before that incident if that helps any ;)
