I just dropped my laptop.
I was able to put the screen back in the....screen.
Everything looks OK, but is there like a suite to check all other stuff,
mobo, hdd, dvdrw, ram etc..

Will it boot? Not that I would try that if any components are exposed.

Sorry but I just broke a wry smile!
Have you not got a warranty/insurance?

Good luck bro. I know how hard it would be for me to be without my machine.

I spilled a cup of hot coffee on my laptop once.....for some reason it didn't like it.

One of the more embarrassing moments in my life: I was walking down some stairs with my laptop and about half way down tripped on the dangling power cord. Ignoring the fact that I fell down half a set of stairs, my Dell 6400 laptop survived without a scratch after flying in the air and landing on the ground. I was expecting such a fragile piece to shatter into a million pieces

They should make them like they make the phones. I dropped mine at least 2,3 times from 10m high on a concrete floor. Still works fine.
I second Nickvd's advice. Backup your data each day. So when your machine crashes, you get a new one and get working again in a day.

Dude, what kind of phone do you have. I dropped my Palm Treo twice from my fat hip and it was dead and gone. Now I am sporting a RAZR.

Just an old brick (nokia 3210 I think).
Well, those good old days, it isn't what it used to be, e?

My RAZR is pretty resilient. My Treo was crap (both of them)
