php noob needs help

php noob needs help

Hi all

im new to the whole php thing. so i would like some pointers on where to begin, what software i should(and should not use), tips and anything usefull.
if sum1 could tell me about a few good tutorials or books, that would be appreciated.

Grab yourself an editor, read over some tutorials, famililarise yourself with the manual and read some threads here :) You'll be good to go in no time.

Also, just a heads up; try not to use AOLSpeak (like "sum1"). For those members who speak english as a second or third language, words like "sum1" are very difficult to decipher. Thanks! 8) :)
