I remember when we got a Pentium I. The thing was a beast and my friends and I thought there could never be anything better than that, not in the near future anyway.
But 10years on and we have quad-core processors and a terabyte HD is nothing new. Heck, a dual layer Blu-ray disks can hold 50 GB.
So much for DVD's.
Just think, in another 10 years we may have processors with 16-cores?
Its actually scary if you think about it. When are we going to be happy with what we have? Are we never going to say, 'Okay, I think we have enough HD space and the processors are fast enough.'?
Well, It's not that I'm not complaining, I'm just thinking out loud.
