Happy birthday. Now you can enjoy the taste of alcohol for the first time ever!
I'm glad you enjoyed your jump. I for one am happy to be safe
inside the fuselage.
Real programmers don't comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

Awesome! I'd love to have a go at that. How long do you freefall for? And how long do you fall in total before you get your feet on the soil again?

the freefall was like 10 seconds (seemed like a lot longer). It was supposed to be longer, but the weather was bad. I'm not sure how long we were floating around once he pulled the chute. It was awesome, I highly recommend doing it if/when you get a chance.

Here you can do it when you are 18 years old, not 21.

That's one shortcut to the ground I hope to avoid ever making. Now jumping off a bridge with an elastic band tied to your feet at least offers a little comfort!
People wait 'till they're 21 to start drinking? Since when?

I'm not sure if you guys recall my last avatar... that should be an indicator of whether this will be my first time trying alcohol.

I'm new but I can still say Happy Birthday!
That's awesome! I've always wanted to do that and I was actually thinking of doing that for my 22 birthday!
Where did you jump at?

you can do it at 18 here (the US) as well.
happy b-day nsg...looks like you had fun. what elevation were you when you jumped? I did it about 12 years ago and my free fall was much longer than that (like 40+ seconds I think). We jumped at 9,000 feet so maybe that was the difference....maybe the weather didn't permit the pilot to go that high.
very cool present though.
