Hi,
I am looking for some free tool that can do some reverse engineering for me.
Using php5.
I just feel my code gets kind of smelly and want to see the global picture of classes.
Anyone advice?
Tried Enterprise Architect (it is for windows)...but trial has expired. Umbrello is kind of dumb
in my opinion.
Would be great tool to be for linux...but Win will do too.
UML tool. source->class diagram

I absolutely love this
You can draw things really fast and it's really simple. Just right click and your away.

I agree it's a cool tool to use which is reasonably intuitive. You do however need the Standard Edition to reverse engineer PHP5 (not supported out of the CE). It's written in Java so it can be slow on a low powered PC.I tried Visual Paradigm - and liked it. Though I don't use uml much, but if I did - I would be using VP.

ole, that program looks really nice.
Microsoft's Visio is OK for UML, but I can't sing it's praises that much as I haven't used it properly.
Really confuses me why Microsoft don't include Visio or Project in any version of Office. Maybe there's not a big enough market for it, but you'd think they'd put it in with the Enterprise Professional versions.

Some examples of what not to do are ne1, any1 (anyone); u (you); ur (your or you're); 2 (to too); prolly (probably); afaik (as far as I know); etc.

I'm sure they have there reasons.Really confuses me why Microsoft don't include Visio or Project in any version of Office. Maybe there's not a big enough market for it, but you'd think they'd put it in with the Enterprise Professional versions.
Glad you like the program. I tried Visio for UML but I just found it infinitely overcomplicated for what is, basically, boxes and arrows with words in or around them. All I want is a program that maintains the structure and connections and that's what that little app does...and so the ole was happy once again and they all lived happily ever after.
uh what was I saying again?
