PHP Eclipse Developer

Post by guitarlvr »

I was developing my applications in Dreamweaver and have since downloaded and run the eclipse php project. The only thing i find i like about dreamweaver more is the syntax highlighting for functions. Does anyone know if Exclipse can highlight php functions as well?

Have you installed the phpEclipse plugin? or the Zend PHP IDE plugin? How about Apanta (which is derived from Eclipse?)

I downloaded the PDT Project off of eclipse's website. They have a version where you download the entire project so you have everything you need in one download.

I would suggest downloading and installing the PHPEclipse plugin from the PHPEclipse plugin website. The easiest thing to do is start here.
