flash player question

Post by speedy33417 »

I'm trying to upgrade the version of Flash Player on a laptop, but the infobar won't appear on top. Has anyone had this problem or can help me in any way? (Current version 7.0, it should be 8.0 or higher)

Thanks.

The infobar is supposed to appear just below the address bar and reads a message that needs to be clicked for the download to start.
I have the pop-up blocker turned off, but I just don't get that infobar that's showing on Adobe's website and supposed to appear.

You should be able to download the plugin regardless of the infobar.

without meaning to hijack the thread........ the problem i have with flash at the moment is the fact the HTML used to insert it into your page produces HTML errors, ive read quite alot about this and the only seemingly valid workaround is to use javascript methods which, in my opinion is not really good enough, something needs to be done regarding standardisation of flash integration
