SD Card not working

SD Card not working

Can anyone tell me how to fix my 1 GB SD Card its doing this:

I put it in my camera and my camera says the SD card isn't formated, but it is it has pictures on it and my computer says the same thing. And even if i try to format it it says unable to format. The lock isn't on, so whats happening!!!

I'd be willing to bet the card is bad.

The card is dead dude. Sorry to break it to ya. I've had two SD cards do the same thing to me before. If you take them in and out of the device regularly they wear out a lot faster in my experience.

I've tried low-level formatting them but never had any luck. Once they start doing that they've gone.
