Ever seen a UFO?

I believe in UFOs because it's possible for someone to not be able to identify a flying object, personally. That's the way I always look at it.
UFOs don't always have to be aliens do they? What if it's military? My brother was talking about how he believes they're blimps. Military or not, he thinks that they're made out of this light, flexible metal that you've seen people find at crashes. Most likely filled with hydrogen.
A blimp floats/hovers. If it was made aerodynamic, it could move pretty speedily.
It seems to make sence.

It could possibly be the military. They don't tell us every time they make a new weapon. Then, "top secret" would be no more.
I'm just waiting for the time machine. ^_^
Although, in theory, a time machine would only rewind time back to the point that you didn't have a time machine and decided to get one. So, we'd never notice if it worked. :-p

I wouldn't be able to live my life knowing I missed an opportunity such as this. Maybe it comes from reading too much Douglas Adams ("Besides, she told herself, taking a deep breath, if life had taught her anything it was this: Never go back for your bag.")seodevhead wrote:Question: If you were met by an alien spacecraft, and were asked to come aboard for a ride (seemingly nice aliens)... would you hop on board or scamper away in fear?
I ask this question in all seriousness.
Alien mateys, ahoy!

I'm with Mordred - I just couldn't pass that up.
My grandmother built a UFO detector, and it worked! Unfortunately what it detected was a meteorite. Man, was she cool.
I saw a UFO once up north - never did find out details, but I seem to remember some story about a satellite breaking up and falling into Georgian Bay...and then a whole lot of silence on the subject. Wouldn't satellite parts falling into Georgian Bay make for bigger news?

No. I have entirely too much of my own family to think about. Now if they invited the whole family, that would be a different story. Of course, if they did invite the whole family, then the headlines the next day would be something like:seodevhead wrote:Question: If you were met by an alien spacecraft, and were asked to come aboard for a ride (seemingly nice aliens)... would you hop on board or scamper away in fear?

To answer my own question... no, I would not go along for a ride with the aliens. They could inject you with some sort of anti-aging vaccine and torture you for the next 1,000,000 years. Also, my love life would suffer greatly due to the fact I never found anyone on Star Trek to be particularly pretty. It's way too risky. I'm not the frontiersman that I would need to be to have the guts to do it.
The coolest thing would be getting a chance to eat alien food. Think about it. Perhaps they have some really healthy stuff that tastes better than hotdogs and hamburgers. Now that's worth risking your life for. Plus, I've read that aliens a very clean and tidy, not the fat slobs we have here on earth.

That's the funniest thing I've read in a while! Where did you read that? In John McAlien's Autobiography?seodevhead wrote:Plus, I've read that aliens a very clean and tidy, not the fat slobs we have here on earth.
If aliens asked me to come on board I don't know what I'd do. I think I would ask if I could come back when I wanted like mentioned above, if I'm not allowed to ask anything or they don't understand I'd just take pictures/videos and then run. Every newspaper in the World would have the picture on the front page and I'd be a millionaire
