I've had one held to my face. That's one of those, "Listen man, she's cute but she's not worth all of that. If you really want her that bad, I'm going to just walk away right now and let you get on with your business," situations. Of course, the girl was a DQ and made the situation drag out for a few months, trying to keep me caught up in it. It was interesting, but barely worth the hassle.

I've only actually held a gun twice. Once, this kid at a Halloween party pulled one out on my cousin for messing with the drunk girl that was "his" girl, and I rushed up to him, yelling my head off, and once he turned to point it at me, I grabbed it by the barrel and rip it out of his hand. Needless to say, I was tipsy and hardly thinking straight, but I pointed it at him and made him get the hell out. I'm always told that you shouldn't throw a gun away in the dumpster, but it was never found.

The only other time was an unloaded gun. I pointed it at a cop as a joke and hid it right before he turned around... At about the point that I remembered that cops have searched me simply for being me. Once I was at Skateland and went outside to handle a call that I didn't want people to interrupt, and the cops came by saying some woman thought I pulled out a gun. It was a damned cell phone.

I've never put someone in a hospital, though. The worst I've ever done was slam someone's head into a wall, but head's can take more damage tan you may think. He deserved it though... Tried to hit me in the face. :D

Hehe, I mellowed out. I think once I hit 19, I stopped putting myself into situations like that. Now, I program instead of steal girlfriends and deal with DQs.

You pointed a gun at a cop? Are you retarded?

I've fired weapons since I was a small child. I attended a YMCA summer camp where target practice was one of the classes offered. I took it to get out of the sun (Florida, Summer, HOT!), and found I progressed quickly. I did it every year I went to camp - for several years.

I received a air rifle when I was 11 by a good friend of the family, and actively practiced using it - further improving my aim.

As a grown man with a young daughter, I'm looking forward to going back to the gun range, and getting more practice - and possibly even showing her the ropes.

It would please me to no end for her to be a better aim and shot that I am.

Then there's martial arts. I trained in Martial Arts, and plan to do so again soon. I also plan on having my young daughter do the same. I will be incredibly happy when I know she is well trained, disciplined, and capable of defending herself in an unreasonable situation.

All of that said, I abhor violence. I avoid fights, would never strike another person (unless they endanger me or mine), and cringe at the thought of using a gun against another human being.

But its better to be well-prepared, in case your life (or the life of a loved one) is in danger, and you need to defend it.

Preparedness and familiarity with weapons isn't always a bad thing. In fact, I'd say its a good thing - unless the person in question has bad intentions.

But then again, the same can be said of driving a car (60mph steel monster), using a knife/machete, or even flying a passenger jet.

Is it possible that it was a car backfiring or some other such noise?

About stealing girlfriends: bad idea. Good way to end up dead in a hurry, if you ask me. That crazy guy who puts his best effort into making your life a living hell after you took his girl? That's me.

Faking apologies sucks, I'd rather fight. I don't recommend being that way though, I got kicked in the teeth once.

One time some crazy tweaker stuck a gun in me and my friends face. We knocked on the wrong door of the hotel. :\

hahaha

life is fun

I'm a perfect angel, so I have never experienced any of the vile things you have mentioned here. Image
Okay, maybe I'm no angel, and maybe I'm no pope, but I am a good boy, so I can honestly say that I have never had a gun in my face...

 That's funny. :D

Just yesterday, a man and a woman were found dead in a house that's about three blocks away from me. Their kid went to a neighbor crying, and they called the cops. No one's sure when they died or how they died, but apparently the little girl didn't know about it until she woke up in the morning. That's just sickening to my stomach.

Yeah.. there've been some crazy little news stories around here lately. Last week, a man shot his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach and killed her at a shopping center about 2 miles down the road.

And I've heard there was a cop that shot at people who gave him the finger and ran. I was told they got away and talked about it, but I haven't found anything online to confirm it. not sure what to search for. But the other stuff I saw on the news, which I haven't watched in a while.

A couple and their two young children were shot execution style a few nights ago in Tilden Park, near Berkeley. I thought that sort of stuff was reserved for Oakland. :?

PS | This one could have been a murder suicide, but it is still under investigation.

Not to sound too moderatorial, but politics are a no-no in our community. Please keep to the topic at hand. Thanks.
