Anyone use XML?
Moderator: General Moderators
i use it for communication between some services we hire from other companies... and for services we sell to other companies...
after a long consideration i've decided to give a go on my personal website. all data is retrieved, exported as xml, translated with xsl and then output. (currently all output is xhtml or rss)

You always say that...I've heard it about 4 times myself...here's the thing.feyd wrote:uh.. the thread is two years old.
What is the purpose of keeping an archive if it can't be dusted off once in a while and brought back to life? At the same time, if I bring up a topic which was been beatin to death before, I am chocked by moderator replies informing me the topic has been disscussed...
So archives are intended to be searched only once they are a few weeks old should not be brought back from the dead...but at the same time if a topic has been disscussed already you should not start a new topic covering the same bases???
Seems a little counter-productive to me, no?
