Announcer with a lisp

Haha! I just heard a Comcast commercial where the announcer had a very noticeable lisp. I laughed the entire time. I had no idea that people with lisps would be able to get a job as an announcer/narrator.
Just felt the need to comment, and I'm already here...

In the UK there is a famous and very succesful radio and TV presenter with a bad lisp called Jonathan Ross. He's actually quite good and very funny!
At a company I used to work for, we had a CEO with a really bad stutter. So he had to represent the company in the city (London) stadning in front of investors, directors etc.

Sometimes a lisp can be something that makes you stand out anyway. Remember the guy in Ony Fools and Horses who couldn't pronounce his R's. Del never knew but he booked him to sing Roy Orbison's "Crying" at the wedding
