Whatever I would normally feel like listening to...
- Classic (Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, etc)
- Old rock (Dion, Manfred Man, etc)
- Punk (NOFX, Pennywise, etc)
- Pop (80's, 90's, etc)
- Country, Blues Grass, etc
Honestly, I listen to everything. I've never not liked most music, even urban hip hop, which as a 'burb living in a Canadian prairie city I have a hard time relating to. I still enjoy it. Some of it anyways.
I have daily preferences...they change constantly. Today, it's Country...

Cool. What does that require of you? Like composing music? Matching lyrics to beat? Or is that left to the muscian?superdezign wrote:I just listen to songs I helped produce. It keeps me motivated.
I've always had an ear for music, but when entering a production room...looking at all those switches and levers (assuming it's an older studio and not done on a Mac) just made me dizzy...I'd rather watch my computer defrag.
What kind of music have your produced? Have any samples?

I just do some hip-hop / r&b production as a hobby. I've got a song in production with an artist I used to work with year ago who I just discovered had talent.Hockey wrote:Cool. And yeah, the stuff takes a while. Like how book writers take years to write books that take days to read.
