Is there no forum like PHPDN?
PHPDN is slow on weekends, but on Sunday, I was home all day and didn't feel like programming anything. I got bored and decided to see what other PHP forums there were since I really don't know of any beyond this. None of them compare.
I went to TheScripts.com, Ozzu.com, and WeberForums.com, and none of them really seem to have the type of user base that DevNetwork has. Beyond DevNet being the most active, we're pretty much the only forum with a feyd.
Also, the first one's layout is cluttered and hard to read, and the other two seem to only have a forum in order to place advertisements everywhere.
Are there some better PHP forums I'm missing or am I misjudging the others?

I frequent SitePoint too. They have a standard PHP forum, then an advanced one as a sub-forum. I've gotten used to the community there although it took me a while because your observations are right... nothing compares to us
*cough* I love SitePoint really... I got offered a job with them on Thursday

I use sitepoint due to the variety of services and articles they offer, and a pretty active forum. I like the place. I don't mind the ads.. I find myself actually clicking on useful ads some of the time.
It doesn't compare to phpdn though.. forums wise.
