I have to tell you guys, though. So, I was at my apartment with the girlfriend preparing to show her some amazingly cute picture I found on the internet when I started typing before Firefox had finished loading so it did that thing where the window loses and then regains focus, well, I had only typed www and then I pressed enter because I had finished typing .google.com before the window came back into focus. Before I knew it I was at a funny looking website which was basically a domain parking service. I said 'huh thats ****ing weird.' and looked in the address bar to read, to my surprise, http://www/.

I had pressed print screen and was loading photoshop to save the screeny when my friends arrived with 'party supplies'. :(

Has this happened to anyone else? I've tried to get it to happen again but it keeps directing me to google for a search or to http://www.com.. ?

I'm on an intranet right now so typing "www" actually gets me the internal website running on server "www" :P

I'm getting Google as well, but I'm kind of amazed at the search results.

W3C, Yahoo, Wiki, AOL, CNN, MySpace, MSN, National Geographic (?), Hotmail, then Microsoft.

Quite an exclusive list there. I'd like to be on it. :P
I wonder how many times I'd need to have 'www' written on my site to top W3C... :P
