I haven't been on flights as long as the one you are going to be one, but just trying to get through Jason Sweat's book was enough to make me forget I had a computer with me.
I would tire of Sudoku, madlibs, crosswords, and magazines within an hour or two. The one time I traveled on a long flight (long being relative, it was merely NY to LA), I brought 2 iPods because I knew the battery would probably die on me, as well as a portable DVD player and my laptop.

On a 20hour flight, I would die if I couldn't use my laptop for the majority of it (assuming I stayed awake).

I love it. My holiday starts the very moment I check in. I'm one of those people who gets to the airport the full 3 hours before departure as early as check in opens. I'd rather be sat enjoying a beer in the airport bar than be sat in traffic wondering if I'll make it in time :P

Speaking of flying, I'll be ermm, falling from 8000ft in Cairns too (skydiving).

I'm actually not going until September 29th
