I want to say OS X, but I have yet to buy mac. I love it because of the Unix platform that runs under the hood, and the user interface in teh GUI is unbeatable. Until this, I will say that I am a Linux fan, specifically Fedora Core as I have used Ubuntu enough to say I love that Linux flavor best.

I'd have to say it's a tie between OS X and Linux. Linux challenges me, and I like that, OS X almost always works when I need it to, but there's still that Unix-ness faintly lurking in the background so I can still go to town on the OS if and when I feel like it.
I've been a Windows user my entire life, and I know pretty much every version of Windows inside and out like the back of my hand, and while I really can't say anything bad about Windows XP (I can say a million bad things about 3.1, 95, 98, 98SE, ME, NT, 2000, and Vista), I get bored with Windows really fast. I keep a Windows box around at all times for gaming and Windows-only things. I've always been a proponent of having every platform at one's disposal just in case.

I'm going to say Windows XP. I've used Windows all my life, and, all though I know there is probably better, I couldn't be bothered finding out until I have major issues with Windows. I guess it's more of a comfort zone kind of thing.
