Also, what's a group of those called? A Terror of <insert plural form here>? A sewing circle of <same plural>?
A terror of terriers.

A sewing circle of seamstresses.
So true. Oh, I was young, and the things I did then..
Alas, indeed.

My love of Halloween knows few bounds. This year, having a 3 year old daughter, I'll be dressing up as Papa Smurf. That tops being the Easter Bunny, the living dead, Dr. Evil, two different kinds of Vampires, 'A bad day at the office', and a seriously frightening woah-MAN.

I once spent more on Halloween than on any other purchase or event that year. I threw a kegger, despite the fact that I didn't drink at the time. :)

It was awesome.

A phalanx of phoenices.
Nice. That gets my vote!

Though, a terror of terriers is also PURE GOLD.

Oh c'mon! It's not like anyone can ever out-do the self-portrait of The Reaper himself.

Evil? Pah! ;)

Oh I'll definitely post it. I've begun growing my beard out, much to the distress of my wife. Scruffy is one thing, but my beard gets *thick* - just like Papa smurf's.

I still need to find a method to 'dye' it down to solid white. Lots of products to do the opposite, but few people want true white hair.

I'm surprised your daughter even knows who Papa Smurf is. I barely remember the smurfs and I'm freakin' 21 years old.

Surprisingly, she's really into retro, much to my enjoyment. She *really* loves a 1960's cartoon "Hercules", which is hideously bad in every way possible. She also loves the Smurfs, Care Bears, Dora, Diego, and (making my heart sing) every comic book cartoon she can find (Spiderman is a big favorite, as is Superman and Krypto, the super dog).

We've got Time Warner Cable, and they have a 'on-demand' channel for every kids channel they have (10+), and they are included in our monthly rate, so it works out well. Its several hundred episodes available at any time of day. We rarely watch live TV, but when we do, its usually Dora/Diego or whatever is on those channels.

We went looking at costumes recently, and she did the usual "ooh, princess, heh! pirate!", but when she got to the Wonder Woman costume, she threw a fit when I told her we weren't buying a costume that day. She *wanted* to be Wonder Woman.

A geek can't get a much better feeling than that.

Well, that and she started my day today with a new phrase/request: "Daddy, big hug? I love your big hugs".

Melted my heart, lemme tell ya.
