How many people, can remember their work or home installation serial keys for software?

I can resite off the top of my head my works Office and Windows XP serial keys. Is that normal?

I know a few people which can resite the Windows XP leaked/pirated cd key from LAN parties I use to go to.

I keep my purchased software in folders with their name as the folder name. .exe and other files inside the folder. txt file with the serial number.

Just in case I have to do clean installs. I hate dealing with support for software.

That said, I don't memorize any of them.

As for software that I need to reinstall I keep all of my discs in their original boxes right beside my computer lined up in beautiful fashion.. : stops to admire them :

As long as you know exactly what a pint of milk costs, you're fine. If not, chances are the evil empire has it's tentacles wrapped around you and turned you into a drone.

I can barely remember my name anymore, let alone a friggin enormous number like a serial. You might think of selling your services to circuses though. I mean if this PHP thing doesn't work out for you, you know?

Almost one, the Windows XP key I've used almost 20 times the last month (hard drive crashed, partition tables breaking down, BSODs, you name it).

:)

My name is still ok. It's my birthday and age I keep forgetting.

But remembering serials? Are you (the topic starter) serious? If there's one at all, copy-paste once for registration, never repeat.

I have the unfortunate talent of remembering all serial numbers I've pretty much ever had to enter, plus all phone numbers (excluding one time calls), addresses, credit cards, social security numbers I've encountered.
