Domain Names

Post by hex »

Ok, I don't wanna know what is, blah, blah. I'm looking for the cheapest I can find. Preferably GBP (£), but any really. Needs to have full DNS control (such as names servers, MX records, etc).

Would appreciate if you could post a site if you know a good/cheap one. Thanks

Hmmm. ukreg always seem to be getting bad press... I'd rather go with someone that'll give me a bit more piece of mind

I use domainmonger they are not a UK company but as a guide price domains cost between £12 and £15 I think. They have full DNS and a web cloaking forward if you don't have a nameserver. Just steer slear of UK2.net I bought a domain from them and it cost more and had a banner ad on the redirect.

Yeah, I've seen UK2.net in the past and they're definitely not as cheap as they boast. I'll check out that site... Atm, 123-reg.co.uk seems to be the cheapest. Anyone had experience with them?

I'm using www.kontent.de.
12€ for .net domain per anno
1.10€/month for zone module (that is a-host, c-names, mx-record)
probably only germany

I have something like 20 domains registered with them for over a year now, never had any problems with them.
