Quality of Life

Post by Ollie Saunders »

Does anybody know of any surveys for measuring your own quality of life or, failing that, any research on the how you might go about quantifing your quality of life?

No, but I know my life rocks, so there must be some quality in it.

Interesting question as to how you define quality of life. Is it health and safety? Or do you include various ideas about liberty? And what about happiness?

Here is a survey:

I've written a big long list already I think rating the importance of each of the things is very subjective but I'd say anything that affects your happiness is fair game.

Thinking of moving? Come to Toronto! We have all 4 seasons and a kick-ass tech community :-)

Also, girls here dig British accents.

I'm not sure any survey could really give you a straight answer since it's extremely subjective. I'd say my quality of life went up fairly significantly recently :)

EDIT | And the quality of my browser went down :( What's with all the black outlines in Safari 3 Beta? :?
EDIT 2 | Hmm, actually it looks like DevNet's CSS has changed or something....

Me too. So I just chose green as they are more green. "You are worth exactly $2,496,294". After knowing that, I would now like to announce that I am up for sale.
